Rock Steady: Dirty Honey’s Tribute to Bad Company

“Rock Steady”, from Bad Company’s 1974 self-titled debut (five times platinum), gets a soulful reboot from Dirty Honey. LaBelle shares, “Bad Company are one of the cornerstones of rock and roll… Paul Rodgers’ voice is timeless.” Produced by Nick DiDia, the track captures Rodgers’ raw emotion with Dirty Honey’s modern edge—Notto’s solos soar, Justin Smolian’s bass thumps, and Jaydon Bean’s drums drive the rhythm. The music video, directed by Linda Eklov, blends live footage with Bad Company nods, racking up views already. As Blues Rock Review raves, it’s a “spin on the classic” that fits seamlessly into the tribute’s lineup.
