Adam Slack and The Bangers sizzling set brings home the bacon!

Way back in 2016, Adam Slack (the exceptionally talented guitarist of local band The Struts) came up with the idea of hosting an end-of-year Green Day Night at Smithy’s Marina Bar in Shardlow. Joining him were longtime friends and former bandmates Natt Webb on drums and Roan Brandt on bass—both key figures from Adam’s teenage bands, Raw and Small Talk.

Hairy Dog Extravaganza: Adam Slack and The Bangers Deliver a Rocking Finale to 2023

Friday 29 December 2023 saw the return of Derby’s own Adam Slack, lead guitarist for the Struts and Frontman for his own band The Bangers.  The venue was Derby’s “The Hairy Dog” on Becket Street and the band have made this their end of year performance an annual event for the last few years….one that is widely anticipated,  with fans traveling from far and wide.
