When is the Breed 77 new album VII released?

VII lands on Friday 13 November 2026, a fitting date for a band who have never done things the conventional way. It is Breed 77’s first full-length record since The Evil Inside in 2013, and as the title suggests it is their seventh studio album. It is available to pre-save now on your streaming platform of choice.

The album runs to 11 songs. Four of them are already out: End Of The Line, Outside and Just Act Like You Know, which fans have been playing since the band’s comeback, and now Wish You Well. That leaves seven brand new tracks to hear on release day.

  4. I Should’ve Let You Know
  5. Got Me Wrong
  6. Two Worlds Apart
  7. I See Red

What does Wish You Well sound like?

Wish You Well roars out of the gate with a huge opening riff from guitarist Danny Felice, and the blend of guitar styles running through it sits perfectly with Paul Isola’s instantly recognisable vocals. It is short, snappy and comes with a message.

Isola explains: “Our latest cut off our new album, ‘VII’ is an eclectic affair – exotic and emotive, ‘Wish You Well’ is a celebration of the chaos – the thousands of differing opinions and points of view, some of these held by people close to you. It’s alright if we don’t see eye to eye on some issues, throughout life people change and their views change – I guess the message of the song is a somewhat sarcastic ‘Even though I think you’re wrong, I wish you well…’ You know? Don’t lose friends over differences.”

He adds: “‘Wish You Well’ is a bit of a trip for its relatively short 3 minutes and change run time; we take you on quite a journey – it floats, it kicks, it’s grungy, there’s a bit of flamenco in there – we’re not pulling any punches, it’s full-on Breed!”

What has Paul Isola said about VII?

The album was a long time coming. “The recording of this album has taken place over a year and a half and 3 countries, the writing of it even more,” says Isola. “It wasn’t the most ideal situation but I think we thrive through adversity, you take negatives and turn them into positives, use the time, hone the songs, develop them and explore where they take you. The result is an album with real musical depth.”

He describes VII as “a sprawling, eclectic affair” that “straddles the spectrum from driving metal riffs and the energy we’re known for – to soft ballads and everything in-between.” The flamenco guitars, tribal rhythms and hooky vocal lines are all still there, but it “stretches and pulls at the concept of B77 in a dozen different directions – it’s Breed evolved, somewhat familiar, but fresh and exciting.”

Lyrically, the record deals with feeling like an outsider. “There’s so many of us that feel we don’t fit in,” Isola says. “Well I’m here to say that it’s OK not to fit in, it’s OK to think different… it’s OK to BE different – it’s the original thinkers that will save the world!” And he is clear about what the album means to the band: “‘VII’ is our mission statement – Breed 77 is back in a big way!”

What are the Breed 77 UK tour dates?

Breed 77 hit the road across England before and just after VII comes out. Raucous UK rockers King Kraken support on the first four headline dates, Silo take over for the last four, and there are two shows supporting old friends Soil in Bradford and Margate. Expect new songs alongside the old favourites every night.

  • Tue 3 November – Bristol, Exchange (with King Kraken)
  • Wed 4 November – Norwich, Waterfront Studio (with King Kraken)
  • Thu 5 November – Nottingham, Beta (with King Kraken)
  • Sat 7 November – Chester, Live Rooms (with King Kraken)
  • Sun 8 November – Bradford, Nightrain (supporting Soil)
  • Tue 10 November – Birmingham, O2 Institute 3 (with Silo)

  • Sun 15 November – Margate, Dreamland (supporting Soil)

It is a busy month for UK rock fans, with Little Angels’ Big Bad & Back tour and The Temperance Movement’s Let It All Out tour also on the road in November.

Where can you buy Breed 77 tickets?

Tickets for all the headline shows are on sale now through the band’s official ticket links, which take you straight to each venue’s official seller. The Bradford and Margate dates are Soil shows, so tickets for those come through the venues. Stick to official sellers and avoid anyone offering tickets on social media – small venue shows like these can sell out and fake tickets do the rounds.

Who are Breed 77?

Formed in London in 1996 by school friends from Gibraltar, Breed 77 mixed flamenco and North African influences with heavy riffs and built a sound nobody else had. Their breakthrough album Cultura (2004) is still one of the standout metal records of the mid-2000s, and songs like World’s On Fire and The River have lost none of their fire. Over the years they toured with Machine Head, Life Of Agony and KoRn, played Download Festival and SXSW, and drew huge crowds at home in Gibraltar.

After a long break, the band came back to full strength at the start of 2024. Since then they have headlined Uprising Festival and delivered one of the sets of the weekend on the Sophie Lancaster Stage at Bloodstock 2025. If you are already planning next summer, check out the Bloodstock 2027 line-up.

Breed 77 are Paul Isola (vocals), Danny Felice (guitar), Pedro Caparros (guitar), Stuart Cavilla (bass) and Adam Stanley (drums).
