The Virginmarys Premiere Video for “My Nettle” – From Album Beyond The House Of Fires Out Now

The Virginmarys have released the official music video for “My Nettle”, the latest single taken from their acclaimed album Beyond The House Of Fires, available now on all platforms.

The track is one of the most delicate and melodic moments on the record, with frontman Ally Dickaty explaining its inspiration:

“This is one of the prettiest sounding songs on the album and lends itself really well to piano and strings. I’ve always been a big fan of Kate Bush’s Hounds Of Love, and some of the gentle piano on this reminds me a little of that. I wrote ‘My Nettle’ about one of my favourite writers, Amelia Vandergast.”
