The Hu Warrior Chant Video Out Now as HUN Hits Vinyl and UK Tour Begins
Mongolian Hunnu Rock band The Hu have released the official video for The Hu Warrior Chant, taken from their third album HUN.
The song first landed in March ahead of the record. The album is already out digitally and on CD via Better Noise Music, with vinyl rolling out from 11 September.

Galaa said:
“Warrior Chant has our signature rhythm that our fans fell in love with and everyone who will listen and know us will say that it is our song. Our third album has a bit of everything rhythm wise, and we see that as a progress of expanding the Hunnu Rock genre. This song has the rhythm that is original to us and is rooted in Mongolian culture. Enkush and I focused on horse head fiddle solos by imitating the horse gait and you will hear the rhythm throughout the song. Of course Jaya perfected the rhythm by adding Mongolian wind instrument, Unu did heavy percussion drum throughout.”
HUN on vinyl
Vinyl editions begin in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on 11 September, then wider Europe on 18 September, and the UK on 9 October. A box set is due later in October.
HUN is an 11-track album steeped in Mongolian lore. A version of “Lost Soul” featuring Jonny Hawkins of Nothing More appears on the digital edition only.
Track listing: Warrior Chant; Lost Soul; The Men; Echoes of My Father; Shadow; Horsemen; Greed; The Real You; Grey Hun; Universe; Second Face.
UK and European tour
The Hu return this autumn for a headline run with Skáld as special guest, starting in Glasgow on 29 September.
The band said:
“What is up our UK and Europe fans? It has been a while since we came to you. Our new setlist is full of hope and energy and as usual The Hu fashion, we will have brand new performance with fiery attitude. Come to our long-awaited shows and let’s have some fun together!”
They have already played EddFest this summer, finished a co-headline run with Apocalyptica, and are currently out on Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson’s Freaks On Parade US tour with Orgy.
