Halestorm Drop “Rain Your Blood On Me” | Everest Album & UK Tour 2025

Halestorm don’t just release singles — they drop seismic events. And Rain Your Blood On Me, the third track from their upcoming album Everest, is exactly that: a thunderous, blood-soaked anthem that doesn’t ask for attention — it demands it.

Premiered live at Black Sabbath’s farewell show in Birmingham, the song arrives not as a teaser, but as a statement. This is Halestorm at their most primal, most poetic, and most powerful.

Halestorm Back To The Beginning Birmingham

Born in the Storm

The story behind Rain Your Blood On Me is as raw as the track itself. It began in Savannah, Georgia, at 3am. Lzzy Hale and her bandmates — Arejay, Joe, and Josh — were stomping their feet and shouting into the night. The chant came first. The poem followed. By midday, it had become a song.

“We weren’t even sure what that title meant in the moment,” Hale said. “But we knew it was right.”

The lyrics are a purge — a scream against the contradictions women are forced to carry. It’s a song about rage, legacy, and the impossible expectations placed on femininity. Hale calls it “our ode to women”, and it’s clear she means every syllable.

“The crawl, the climb, the clenching of fists, the screaming of sirens, the breaking of glass – this is our war cry.”

The Sound of Fury

Musically, Rain Your Blood On Me is a dirge turned detonation. It opens with a slow, stomping beat before erupting into Halestorm’s signature chaos: Arejay’s explosive drums, Joe’s serrated riffs, Josh’s brooding bass, and Hale’s voice — volcanic, unrelenting, unforgettable.

It’s the kind of track that feels built for arenas, but born in a basement. And that’s exactly the point.

Everest: The Album

Due out August 8 via Atlantic Records, Everest is Halestorm’s sixth studio album — and their most personal yet. Produced by Grammy-winner Dave Cobb, the record was written without demos, in real time, capturing the band’s rawest instincts.

Hale describes it as “a story of our journey as a band, full of beautiful endings and new beginnings.”

A Torch-Passing Moment

The live debut of Rain Your Blood On Me at Black Sabbath’s final show wasn’t just symbolic — it was seismic. Halestorm didn’t just share the stage with metal’s founding fathers. They inherited the mantle.

It was a generational handoff. A moment that marked the end of one era and the rise of another.

The nEVEREST UK Tour

Halestorm will headline UK arenas this November, bringing their full fury to fans across the country:

A Closing Note of Anticipation

With Everest set to drop on August 8 and the nEVEREST tour ready to set arenas ablaze, Halestorm aren’t just inviting fans along for the ride — they’re daring us to climb. This moment feels bigger than a new record or a run of shows. It’s the birth of a new era. The scream is real, the storm is coming, and when Halestorm take the stage, it won’t just be loud — it’ll be legendary.
