This is exciting news for fans of the band who have eagerly been awaiting new material from them. ‘Elephants Can Swim’ is the first release of 2023 for Electric Pets, the first of a series of singles that will take them through to the end of the summer.

Electric Pets is a four-piece band hailing from Derby, UK, with Emma Buckley as their singer-songwriter. Their music is a blend of mature dark-pop with a garage rock swagger, drawing influences from the roots of rock n’ roll, including blues, rockabilly, surf rock, motown, and old-school r’n’b. They infuse these timeless elements with a contemporary twist, firmly framing them in a 21st-century styling.
