With over 3.3 billion global streams and a Grammy-winning legacy, Halestorm is scaling new heights with the release of “Everest,” the explosive title track from their sixth studio album, out August 8, 2025, via Atlantic Records. Unveiled on May 30, 2025, this anthem marks a bold evolution for the Pennsylvania hard rockers—Lzzy Hale (vocals, guitar), Arejay Hale (drums), Joe Hottinger (guitar), and Josh Smith (bass)—cementing their dominance in the rock scene.

“Our song ‘Everest’ is the summit of everything we’ve fought for—every scream, every scar, every triumph,” declares Lzzy Hale. “This album is us, louder and bolder, and more brutally honest than ever, standing tall in the face of the storm.” Produced by Grammy-winner Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell), “Everest” blends raw emotion with unhinged riffs, building on the momentum of their first single, “Darkness Always Wins,” which recently cracked the top 20 at Active Rock radio in the USA and earned B-list status at Planet Rock Radio and Kerrang! Radio in the UK.
The accompanying music video, premiered on YouTube, delivers a visceral punch with clips of humanity on the edge—literal explosions and metaphorical breakdowns—intercut with the band’s fiery performance. Fans are already raving, with posts found on X describing it as “a rollercoaster of rage and redemption,” fueling anticipation for the full Halestorm Everest album 2025.
Recorded in a secluded house by a river in Savannah, Georgia, the “Everest” sessions were a departure from tradition. Lzzy revealed in a recent interview that Cobb scrapped demos, pushing the band to create spontaneously from 11:30 AM to 4:00 AM daily. “His ADHD mixed with ours,” she laughed, “and we ended up with a sound that’s pure Halestorm—unfiltered and fearless.” This organic process, detailed in an exclusive behind-the-scenes video released today, showcases the band’s chemistry and the album’s 12-track journey, from the haunting “Fallen Star” to the defiant “K-I-L-L-I-N-G.”
Halestorm’s 2025 tour is a global conquest. They kicked off supporting Iron Maiden in Europe this week, with a standout performance at Black Sabbath’s final show on July 5 in Birmingham, England, ahead. After a U.S. run with Volbeat, the “nEVEREST” tour launches in September, culminating in headline arena dates across the UK in November. Special guests Bloodywood and Kelsey Karter & The Heroines will join for the UK leg, promising an unforgettable live experience.
Halestorm’s return with Everest is more than an album—it’s a testament to their 20-year climb, blending heartbreak, rage, and redemption. Join the revolution—stream “Everest,” pre-order the Halestorm Everest album 2025, and catch them live on the Halestorm tour dates 2025!
