Indie Blues-Rock Duo Share Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Look at Chart-Topping Journey

British blues-rock duo When Rivers Meet are on the brink of a monumental milestone, with their latest album Addicted To You storming to No.2 on the Official UK Midweek Albums Chart. As they battle Sparks for the coveted No.1 spot—potentially becoming the first fully independent, self-released, and self-managed band to top the UK charts—the husband-and-wife team of Grace and Aaron Bond are sharing an exclusive behind-the-scenes video of their journey, available now on their website.

“We’re still in shock to be at No.2 as a completely independent band,” Grace Bond shares, her voice filled with gratitude. “Addicted To You is a labor of love, and seeing this response is beyond our wildest dreams. We poured everything into this album, and to be so close to making history is humbling. Thank you to every fan who’s believed in us—we’re doing this together.”

Released on May 23, 2025, Addicted To You marks a bold new chapter for When Rivers Meet, expanding into a six-piece band for the album and live shows. Recorded at The Boathouse Studio in Suffolk with producer Adam Bowers, the record fuses blues-rock, Americana, and folk, with standout tracks like the gritty title song and the haunting By the Water’s Edge. The behind-the-scenes video offers fans a rare glimpse into the recording process, capturing raw moments of Grace and Aaron crafting their harmonies and the band’s electric energy in the studio.
