Europe Announce 12th Studio Album ‘Come This Madness’ Out September 25 2026 + New Single “One On One”
After nine years, Europe return with their 12th studio album Come This Madness — their most powerful, uncompromising statement to date.
The album will be released on September 25 2026 via Silver Lining Music / Hell & Back Recordings.
The first single “One On One” is out now, accompanied by a striking and unconventional music video.

Joey Tempest said of the track: “‘One On One’ is definitely one of my favourite tracks from the album. The power and feel is fresh, but some of the melodies bring me back to where it all began. Lyrically, it’s perhaps not filled with as much escapism as early Europe. These lyrics automatically ended up being more of a reflection of the times we live in today. Ever since ‘One On One’ was just a demo, we’ve stayed with it… never gave up on it, and elevated it to a place where it belongs: a high-flying, classic hard rock track.”
About Come This Madness
The album channels tension, truth, and raw energy across tracks like “The Cult of Ignorance” and the title track. It was recorded at RMV Studio in Stockholm (founded by Benny Andersson and Ludvig Andersson) and features special guest appearances from Tobias Forge (Ghost) and Michael Åkerfeldt (Opeth).
Produced by Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Rammstein, Pixies, The Cult, Opeth) — who became a true creative force in the process — and mixed by rock legend Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Van Halen, Metallica, The Cult), Come This Madness finds Europe fully realised and confronting the world as it is.
Joey Tempest added: “It was a true pleasure working with Tom. He’s creative, musical and incredibly intuitive — he really became a sixth member of the band during the writing and recording of this album.”
