Bowling For Soup, Punk Rock Factory & Wheatus Reimagine Sonic Unleashed Anthem ‘Endless Possibility’
London, 17 November 2025 – Pop-punk icons Bowling For Soup have reunited with Punk Rock Factory and Wheatus for a revamped version of “Endless Possibility”, the beloved main theme from SEGA’s 2008 video game Sonic Unleashed. Originally written and performed by BFS frontman Jaret Reddick with music by composer Tomoya Ohtani, the track has endured as a fan favorite for 17 years – now reimagined with fresh energy, humor, and heavier punch.
The collaboration honors Ohtani’s cinematic vision while injecting BFS’s pop-punk hooks, Punk Rock Factory’s viral cover flair, and Wheatus’s alt-rock edge (“Teenage Dirtbag” legends). The music video features all three acts in chaotic, nostalgic glory – a must-watch for Sonic fans and pop-punk heads alike.
“I can’t tell you how many times I get asked about this song a day — and it’s more now than ever! I know people will always love the original; it’s part of their childhood. But I have to say, this new version keeps the song intact and, sonically (see what I did there), it’s gonna knock your socks off!” – Jaret Reddick

Sonic Unleashed Legacy: Why “Endless Possibility” Endures
Released in 2008, the track – with lyrics by Reddick – captured Sonic’s exhilaration of speed and discovery. Ohtani’s dynamic score defined modern Sonic soundtracks. 17 years on, it remains a streaming staple, fan cover magnet, and childhood nostalgia trigger – now amplified for a new generation.
The re-recording keeps the soul intact: faster tempo, electric guitars emphasized, Reddick’s vocals soaring – ending 30 seconds quicker than the original.
