The Maid of Stone Festival has unveiled an electrifying shake-up to its Friday, July 18th lineup. With Richie Kotzen unexpectedly withdrawing, the festival has announced two powerhouse acts—Joanne Shaw Taylor and Dirty Honey—as co-headliners for the evening.
Joanne Shaw Taylor & Dirty Honey Take Center Stage
British-born, Nashville-based Joanne Shaw Taylor, celebrated for her blistering guitar prowess and soulful songwriting, will take the stage alongside Los Angeles rock sensations Dirty Honey, a band often hailed as the most exciting force in modern rock. Both acts will perform equal-length sets, ensuring fans get the ultimate blues-rock and hard-rock experience.
A statement from Kotzen’s agent reads:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the artist’s control, we regretfully announce the cancellation of Richie Kotzen’s performance at Maid of Stone Festival on July 18th. Richie sincerely apologizes for the disappointment and thanks the fans for their understanding.”
To accommodate this epic co-headlining setup, Maid of Stone’s gates will now open at 13:00 on Friday, July 18th.
A Stacked Friday Lineup
Joining Joanne Shaw Taylor and Dirty Honey on the main stage will be:
- H.E.A.T – Swedish melodic rock giants fresh from a stellar UK tour.
- Quireboys – With Spike back at the helm, the UK rock veterans are set to deliver an unforgettable performance.
- Myke Gray’s Supergroup – Featuring Tom Rampton (The Treatment), Tony Lang (Apriori), Colin Parkinson (Inglorious), and a soon-to-be-announced drummer.
- Hillbilly Vegas – The Oklahoma-based Southern rockers will bring the party spirit to Maidstone.
- Gorilla Riot, A’priori, Tom Killner, Muddibrooke, We Three Kings – A mix of raw rock energy and rising stars.
- Secret Set – A mystery band will hit the main stage in a must-see moment. Who could it be?

For those looking for a more intimate vibe, the VIP area will host exclusive acoustic sets throughout the weekend:
