Mammoth Announce Third Album The End, Drop New Single “The Spell” Ahead of October Release
Wolfgang Van Halen’s Mammoth have officially lifted the curtain on their third full-length album, The End, landing 24th October via BMG. A ten-track, 39-minute statement of evolution and grit, this release marks a new chapter for Mammoth—leaner in name, sharper in sound, and packed with punch.
“The Spell”, the first taste of what’s to come, is available now across all digital platforms. Directed by longtime visual collaborator Gordy De St. Jeor, the performance video resurrects Wolfgang’s multi-instrument persona—layering drums, riffs, vocals, and charisma into a hypnotic assault of sound and spectacle.
Built at 5150: One Man, All Instruments
Produced by Wolfgang’s trusted studio ally Michael “Elvis” Baskette, The End was recorded at the iconic 5150 Studio, capturing the essence of Mammoth’s DIY sonic blueprint. Continuing the tradition set with his previous releases, Wolfgang wrote every song, played every instrument, and recorded all vocals himself.
From the hypnotic opening of “One Of A Kind” to the infectious closer “All In Good Time”, The End showcases Wolfgang Van Halen’s continued evolution as a musician and songwriter. The 10-track album includes songs like “Same Old Song”, “Happy”, and “Selfish”, which are expected to sit comfortably alongside fan favourites from previous Mammoth releases.
Road Warriors Return: Two Tours, One Mammoth
Mammoth are keeping the wheels turning with a summer trek alongside Creed on the Return of the Summer of ’99 Tour, kicking off July 9 in Lexington, KY and wrapping August 30 in Halifax, NS.
To celebrate the album release, the band headline The End Tour starting October 31. With stops in Las Vegas (Nov 1), Atlanta (Nov 8), Montclair (Nov 14), Chicago (Nov 26), and Tempe (Dec 6), the five-week run will be joined by longtime friend Myles Kennedy.

Mammoth’s Evolution: No WVH Required
With The End, Mammoth sheds the WVH moniker and steps forward as a fully-formed force. Since their debut in 2021, Wolfgang’s solo project has amassed more than 100 million streams, earned GRAMMY® nominations, and topped multiple Billboard charts—including a #1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums Chart for Mammoth II. Now, he continues to push boundaries, blending cinematic ambition with studio precision.
As October approaches, the countdown begins—not just to The End, but to another bold beginning for Mammoth. With Wolfgang once again behind every beat, riff, and roar, this album promises to be a defining moment. Rock fans, brace yourselves—The End is nearly here, and it’s shaping up to be something special.
