These Wicked Rivers Announce ‘Fire & Folklore’ UK Tour 2026 – 16 Headline Dates + New Album Teased

Derbyshire blues-rock heavyweights These Wicked Rivers have announced their most extensive UK headline tour to date.

The five-piece, known for their powerful live shows and timeless rock ‘n’ roll spirit, will hit the road this autumn and winter on the ‘Fire & Folklore’ tour – a 16-date run that spans the length and breadth of Britain from Falmouth to Aberdeen.

Following a string of sold-out shows across the UK and Europe in 2025, the band are ready to celebrate the joy of live music with fans old and new.

Guitarist Arran Day said: “DO NOT ADJUST YOUR AM RADIOS! The These Wicked Rivers travelling carnival will be bringing FIRE AND FOLKLORE to you this November and December – and it is an occasion not to be missed. Celebrating the joy of live music with like-minded folk means more now than ever, so we’re delighted to traverse the UK to bring the magic to as many people as we physically can.”

The band have also confirmed they are working on their third studio album, with recording sessions already completed earlier this year in a secret location in deepest Derbyshire.

Frontman John Hartwell teased: “We’re ready to get some new songs down, and we’ve found a place in deepest Derbyshire, so magic is afoot…”

Arran Day added: “The tour will bring forth the next chapter of the band as we celebrate new music coming out into the wild. We shall frolic like never before! Smiling together as we bask in the epic light that is rock and roll! NEW SONGS, NEW LAMPSHADES, NEW… GRANDFATHER CLOCKS!”

Bassist Adam Brewell continued: “The last couple of years have been incredibly focused creatively, and with a lot of touring under our belt we feel tighter than ever. This tour feels like the culmination of that – we’re ready to get back on stage, bring 70s rock back where it belongs, and share what we’ve been working on along the way.”

The tour will feature a mix of brand-new material from the upcoming third album alongside fan-favourite tracks from their previous releases. Expect a heartfelt celebration of pure rock ‘n’ roll with the ever-growing Rivers family.
