Rock-Focused Highlights from the Splendour 2026 Lineup

Splendour 2026 delivers a strong rock and indie contingent across its main stages:

  • Primal Scream – First-time Splendour appearance for the Scottish legends behind “Movin’ On Up,” “Loaded,” and “Rocks.” Expect high-energy acid-rock and rave-infused classics.
  • Editors – Their latest album brings unrelenting electro-industrial rock – a thrilling, leftfield evolution that will light up Wollaton Park.
  • The K’s – Raw, authentic indie-rock energy and stand-out songs from their critically acclaimed latest album make them a live-circuit favorite.
  • The Flaming Lips – Iconic, unpredictable American alt-rock pioneers. Q Magazine called them one of the “50 Bands to See Before You Die” – their audio/visual spectacle is legendary.
  • Cast – Noel Gallagher dubbed them “The Who of the 90s.” Anthemic, melodic songs and fervent fanbase energy.
  • Hard Life – Emotionally raw return with genre-bending pop and themes of hardship/resilience, delivered with charisma.
  • The Lathums – Nostalgic indie-rock with poetic songs, stellar vocals, and guitar-driven anthems.
  • The Pigeon Detectives – High-energy live staples with a career-spanning set of indie bangers.
  • The Futureheads – Angular post-punk/indie energy.
  • The Clause, Pastel, M60, The Rosadocs, The Cheap Thrills, Archy and the Astronauts – Rising guitar bands bringing fresh indie/rock fire.

Additional highlights include Craig David Presents TS5 (Ibiza soundsystem vibes), Estelle, Neville Staple from The Specials, Kingfishr, Divorce, alt blk era, Say She She, The Sugarhill Gang, and more.
