Alter Bridge Scales Are Falling Single Out Now

With just days until their self-titled eighth studio album drops worldwide on January 9, 2026 via Napalm Records, Alter Bridge unleash the final teaser single “Scales Are Falling” on January 7, 2026. The track – an atmospheric journey with peaks, valleys, moods, and cinematic scope – explores the harsh moment of uncovering deception. Myles Kennedy: “It’s when you realise the reality of a situation where you’ve been deceived. You see the truth and how harsh it is.” Mark Tremonti: “I was excited for this one. It has an atmospheric vibe with a lot of peaks, valleys, and moods. I solo over the bridge, and Myles plays the outro.”

The accompanying visualiser, created by Marcin Pospiech (Nine Inch Nails, Tool – reinfected.me), amplifies the song’s tense picking and layered guitars. Watch below; stream on all DSPs.

Why Alter Bridge’s 2026 Run Is Unmissable

Since 2004, Alter Bridge—born from Creed’s ashes—have forged a hard rock empire: Gold-certified One Day Remains, No. 1s like Walk The Sky, and a diehard global fanbase. Pawns & Kings (2022) earned 4.5/5 from Classic Rock; now, the self-titled LP pushes harder, with ‘What Lies Within’’s “dark and foreboding” edge signaling new peaks. The tour’s stacked support (Sevendust’s metal heft, Daughtry’s crossover hooks) and Blackbird Festival’s Welsh castle blowout make this their defining moment. Socials are ablaze: “Myles and Mark at The O2? Cardiff fest? Take my money!”
