Hard-Fi to Perform Live Before Harlequins vs Exeter Chiefs Clash

British indie rock favourites Hard-Fi have been confirmed as the headline act for the Big Summer Kick-Off at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham on Saturday 16 May 2026.

The event combines top-flight rugby with live music, as Harlequins face Exeter Chiefs in their penultimate home fixture of the 2025/26 season (kick-off 16:00 BST).

Friday night in Huddersfield. Normally it’s beers in Wetherspoons then a do.

Hard-Fi Live in Twickenham: What to Expect

Fans attending the Big Summer Kick-Off can look forward to a high-energy pre-match performance from Hard-Fi, bringing their signature indie sound back to West London.

Formed in nearby Staines-upon-Thames, the band rose to prominence with platinum-selling albums Stars of CCTV and Once Upon a Time in the West. Their setlist is expected to include fan favourites such as Hard to Beat and Living for the Weekend.

The Big Summer Kick-Off at Allianz Stadium is designed to deliver a full matchday experience, blending live entertainment with elite rugby union.

Speaking ahead of the event, Hard-Fi frontman Richard Archer said:

“I used to look down at the old Twickenham stadium from my aunt’s flat, so I’m very excited and honoured to be playing at Allianz Stadium with Harlequins. It’s going to be a great day and only two stops on the train.”

Harlequins CEO Laurie Dalrymple added that the event aims to bring supporters together for “an unforgettable experience” to kickstart the summer.
