Tyketto Live in Norwich 2026 Review – Waterfront Rock Night with Warrior Soul & Collateral
It was early doors on Tuesday evening as Norwich welcomed three hard rocking bands to the iconic Adrian Flux Waterfront. The big room, with its low stage and even lower ceiling was the perfect venue for a night of heavy rock courtesy of the legendary Tyketto.
First, though, there were two supports to see…….
Collateral – Live in Norwich

Collateral took to the stage at just past 8pm to a warm welcome.
For a band that broke through in 2018 with their “4 shots!” EP, they commanded the audience like old pros with superb stage presence. They got the growing crowd involved from the off, having them sing back and engaging with them, making for a brilliant atmosphere.
The boys from Kent can play, too, and it’s clear to see why they were the poll-winning opening band at Stonedead 2023.
Lead vocalist Angelo Tristan has an incredible voice, which is complimented by the superb musicianship of Louis Malagodi on guitar and the rhythm section of Jack Bentley-Smith on bass and drummer Ben Atkinson.
They were clearly having a great time, and relished in the fact that the audience were loving what they were seeing.
My only complaint is that their set was really short. We need to see more of Collateral – they deserve it!
Warrior Soul – Live Set Review

In contrast to relative newcomers Collateral, Warrior Soul are old hands. Formed in 1987 in New York by vocalist Kory Clarke, they have been through multiple line-up changes and more than one reunion. Tonight, Clarke, along with guitarist Adam Arling, bassist Christian Kimmett and drummer Nate Arling took to the stage and screamed “Are you ready to rock and roll?!”. The Norwich rock fans certainly were, and were treated to a set of classics spanning the Warrior Soul back catalogue.

As they powered through songs like “The Party”, “Rocket 88” and “The Wasteland”, Clarke, dressed in sparkling green flares and shade, gyrated around the stage like Iggy Pop. He’s lost none of his vocal power and his voice cut through the music powerfully. The crowd responded too, and they were clearly loving what they were seeing. The night was definitely shaping up well!

Tyketto – Headline Performance Review

I first saw (and photographed) Tyketto a couple of years ago when they headlined Call of the Wild. I was buzzing to see them command their own stage, and I was not disappointed – a sentiment clearly shared by the packed-out Waterfront. By the time the house lights dimmed, the anticipation in the room was electric. They arrived to thunderous applause and wasted no time getting down to business.
Danny Vaughn remains one of the most charismatic frontmen in the game. He has incredible stage presence, appearing on stage clapping along with the crowd and engaging with the front row from the very first chord. He doesn’t just sing at the audience, he draws them in.
Tyketto are currently on tour promoting their sixth album, “Closer to the Sun,” and tonight’s gig in Norwich was only the second night of the run. You wouldn’t have known it, though, as they played with the tightness of a band mid-tour.

From the opening notes of “Rescue Me”, which featured some soulful, blistering harmonica playing we were treated to a setlist that balanced the fresh with the familiar. We got a generous helping of the new material, including over half of the new album. “Higher than High,” “Harleys and Indians,” and the title track were particular highlights, proving that their new songs hold their own against the heavy hitters. Of course, they didn’t neglect the stone-cold Tyketto classics; “Burning Down Inside” prompted a massive singalong, and the closing anthem “Forever Young” nearly took the roof off.

This is a band that genuinely knows how to party. The respect they have for their own back catalogue, for each other, and for their audience is palpable. The sheer energy that Danny Vaughn, Ged Rylands, Chris Childs, Johnny Dee and Harry Scott Elliott pour into their performance is second to none. It’s a photographer’s dream; you’ve got Danny leaning into the mic with that classic, soulful intensity, right next to Harry Scott Elliott, who was barely standing still for a second. I managed to snap him mid-song, effortlessly balancing on one leg while tearing through a riff. They are authentic, entertaining, and absolute masters of their craft The hooks are infectious, the solos are soaring, and the audience clearly loved every second.
Tyketto continue their UK tour through to April 26th, finishing up at KK’s Steel Mill. They then head to Europe for the summer, hitting Steelhouse (always a highlight!) at the end of July before a co-headlining run with Black Star Riders. Catch them if you can. You won’t regret it!
