Snooper Announce New Album Worldwide

Snooper New Album Worldwide + Lead Single Release

Snooper announce their brand-new album Worldwide, set for release on October 3rd, 2026 via Third Man Records, and present its electrifying lead single and video “Worldwide.”

Over the past few years, Snooper—founded by guitarist Connor Cummins and vocalist/visual artist Blair Tramel—have risen from Nashville DIY scene staples to one of the most exciting names in the international underground punk scene. What began as a small lo-fi project quickly snowballed into widespread acclaim, with Worldwide marking a bold new era for the band.

The record extends directly from the punk roots Snooper first built their reputation on but showcases a sound that’s bolder, catchier, and more confident than ever before.

Snooper’s Journey from DIY to International Spotlight

Snooper was never originally intended to be a live band—it started as a lo-fi recording and video project during lockdown. Tramel, who had never performed before, built the now-iconic “Snooperverse” of props, puppets, and papier-mâché creations to combat stage fright. These surreal, handmade elements are now a defining part of their explosive live shows, from crowd-surfing bug puppets to a custom arcade console.

After their 2023 breakout debut Super Snooper—praised by The Quietus, The Sunday Times, and even given The Needle Drop’s coveted yellow flannel treatment—Snooper’s second album Worldwide arrives with serious momentum.

The announcement of Worldwide has already earned strong support from Pitchfork, Stereogum, NME, and topped The Guardian’s F&M Playlist, who dubbed Snooper the “egg punk flagbearers.”

Snooper Worldwide – A True Debut

With Super Snooper essentially a re-recorded collection of pre-existing songs, Snooper now consider Worldwide to be their true debut album.

This time, the band worked with Grammy-winning producer John Congleton (St Vincent, Eels, Chelsea Wolfe), who approached them as a fan. The collaboration pushed Snooper into new creative territory.

“The whole idea behind this record was experimentation and change,” says Connor Cummins.

Tracks like Star 69 and the title track Worldwide introduce drum machine-driven rhythms and unexpected dance breaks, while still carrying the feral punk intensity Snooper are known for.

Snooper Live: Touring with The Hives & Beyond

September saw Snooper supporting The Hives on their North American tour, proving again why they are one of the most talked-about live bands today.

Their sporadic-yet-frantic global touring—across Australia, North America, and Europe—has only cemented their reputation for ferocious, inventive, and unpredictable shows.
