Brass Band Ozzy Osbourne Tribute

Lock Stock Festival’s Ozzy Osbourne Tribute by Boston Brass Band Echoes Through Willenhall Park

Brass Band Ozzy Osbourne Tribute : Sunlight, sweat, and Sabbath riffs—Willenhall Lock Stock Festival is set to deliver one of the most emotionally charged moments in its eight-year history this Sunday, as the Bostin Brass Band returns to honour the Prince of Darkness in the most unexpected way: with horns blazing.

The Bostin Brass Band is a 13-year-old New Orleans-style ensemble hailing from Ozzy Osbourne’s hometown of Birmingham. Known for blending brassy swagger with rock grit, they’ve performed everywhere from school playgrounds to international jazz festivals. Their signature style—“New Orleans meets Black Sabbath”—made them the perfect choice to lead Ozzy’s funeral procession, where they played haunting renditions of “Crazy Train” and “Changes” as thousands mourned.

The same brass ensemble that led Ozzy Osbourne’s funeral procession through Birmingham last month will now headline a tribute set at Willenhall Memorial Park, transforming grief into groove in front of more than 4,000 fans. The performance marks a rare collision of punk ethos, local pride, and ceremonial grandeur—proof that even in death, Ozzy’s legacy refuses to go quietly.

This year’s festival doubles down on community impact, with two stages named after the charities it supports: The Good Shepherd in Wolverhampton and NSPCC Childline. But it’s the Brass Band Ozzy Tribute that’s expected to steal the show—an audacious homage to Birmingham’s most iconic son, who passed away last month at 76, just weeks after his final thunderous farewell at Villa Park.

The Bostin Brass Band, known for their genre-bending arrangements, will reinterpret Black Sabbath classics with brass, percussion, and raw emotion. Their funeral procession on Broad Street drew thousands, turning mourning into a mass celebration of Ozzy’s life and music. Now, they’re bringing that same energy to the festival stage.

Ozzy’s image—cross necklace, shades, and that unmistakable snarl—will loom large over the event. And while the riffs may be reimagined, the spirit remains pure: loud, defiant, and unforgettable.
