The Temperance Movement Silverlight Blues Out Now – Album 9 October

The Temperance Movement Silverlight Blues is out now — third single from New Promise Land Incorporated, released 9 October on Earache Records.

“Eat You Alive” was the swagger opener. “Always Been Love” slowed it and leaned on the groove. This one is the melody cut. The video puts them back in Fish Factory Studios, where the UK No. 12 debut was recorded.

New Promise Land Incorporated

First full set of new songs in eight years. Recorded April 2026 with Ethan Johns (Kings of Leon, Laura Marling, Ray LaMontagne) producing and mixing.

Live-to-tape, blues riffs, the same five-piece chemistry after the long gap. Opening track “Shadows”, then “Eat You Alive”, “Mongrels”, “Saving Grace”. The band’s line is simple: reconnection, not a costume change.

A Deeper Cut hit UK No. 6 in 2018. Then the hiatus. 2025 comeback tour sold out and upgraded rooms, including the O2 Forum Kentish Town. Summer 2026 festival run: Steelhouse, Maid of Stone, Azkena Rock, Notodden Blues, Rootsy Summer Fest.

The Temperance Movement Silverlight Blues is the last marker before the album lands.

Rock News final word: The Temperance Movement Silverlight Blues is the feel-good single before New Promise Land Incorporated hits on 9 October. If the comeback tour already told you they still work as a live band, this is the studio proof with Johns behind the desk. Forum on 1 December is the London date that will go first.
