Download Festival 2027: The Road to Donington Starts Now

The dust has barely settled on the hallowed turf of Donington Park, but the metal community never sleeps. Download Festival 2027 is officially confirmed for 9th–13th June 2027, and the race for the best-priced tickets is already underway.

Early Bird tickets for Download 2027 went on sale today (Monday 15th June 2026). If the 2026 edition taught us anything, it’s that Donington has an uncanny ability to sell out long before the final headliner drops. Securing your spot now isn’t just about saving cash—it’s about guaranteeing your place in the mosh pit for the UK’s premier rock event.

Who will headline 2027? The rumour mill is already spinning. With 2026’s titans—Guns N’ Roses, Linkin Park, and Limp Bizkit—setting the bar high, who is next to claim the throne? Could we finally see a return for Iron Maiden, a major production from Bring Me The Horizon, or perhaps a legacy slot for AC/DC?

Download 2026: A Quick Look Back

Download 2026 was a masterclass in heavy music, bringing 95,000 fans together for a weekend of sunshine, sub-zero mud (depending on the day!), and world-class performances. From the nostalgia-fuelled set by Guns N’ Roses to the high-octane energy of Limp Bizkit and the modern mastery of Linkin Park, it was a year for the history books.
