Yungblud Headlines Bludfest Year 3 in Czechia to 20,000 Fans – Full Review

Yungblud headlined the third edition of his self-created festival Bludfest yesterday in Hradec Králové, Czechia, drawing a crowd of 20,000 fans for a day packed with music, emotion and pure rock ‘n’ roll energy.

Created and curated by the 28-year-old Brit, Bludfest Year 3 featured performances across three stages from Primal Scream, Biffy Clyro, Palaye Royale, Pale Waves, Jesse Jo Stark, Nieve Ella, Destroy Lonely and more.

Yungblud’s Headline Set

Bludfest Year 3

Yungblud opened his headline set with the brooding introduction to the nine-minute epic Hello Heaven, Hello, before a huge confetti blast ignited the crowd. He launched straight into the raucous Lovesick Lullaby amid bursts of pyrotechnics, greeting the crowd in Czech with the instruction “ruce nahoru” (“hands up”).

Across a career-spanning set, he ripped through material from all four studio albums and his collaborative EP with Aerosmith, including The Funeral, My Only Angel, and the Grammy-nominated Zombie.

As is tradition, Yungblud scanned the crowd for handmade signs when it came time to play Fleabag, before spotting a young fan in a Nirvana t-shirt and bringing him onstage to play rhythm guitar. “This is what Rock n’ Roll is about,” he declared.

New additions to the festival this year included the gothic-styled YBHQ Club and Beautifully Romanticised Accidentally Traumatized store, alongside the returning Make A Friend tent.

Rock News final word: Bludfest continues to grow into something genuinely special. Yungblud’s headline set was emotional, chaotic, and full of heart — exactly what you want from a festival created by an artist for his fans. With a strong supporting lineup and a clear sense of identity, Bludfest Year 3 felt like a real statement. Long may it continue.
