Skindred Unveils The Detour: A 2025 UK Tour Beyond the Big Cities
Welsh ragga metal legends Skindred have announced their highly anticipated The Detour UK headline tour for autumn 2025, set to kick off on October 16. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 10 AM BST, and are available exclusively via https://skindred.net/#live. Drummer Arya Goggin shares the band’s vision: “We as a band are extremely conscientious about venturing outside of just the major UK cities to spread the Skindred sound. This October the ‘Detour’ is our attempt to do just that. As a band we love to play live, but there are so many amazing towns and cities with fantastic venues across the country that get forgotten and need to be supported. That’s where our ‘Detour’ comes in! We can’t wait to head back out across the UK this October on our ‘Detour.’ See you there!”
Following a stellar 2024, where their eighth album Smile hit No. 2 on the Official UK Albums Chart, Skindred scooped the Best Alternative Music Act Award at the MOBOs and Best UK Act at the Heavy Music Awards. They also headlined their largest show to date at Wembley Arena, cementing their status as live powerhouses.

Skindred’s 2024 Triumphs and Global Ascendancy
2024 was a breakout year for Skindred. Their album Smile, released in summer 2023, climbed to No. 2 on the Official UK Albums Chart, earning them the Best Alternative Music Act Award at the MOBOs and Best UK Act at the Heavy Music Awards. Their Wembley Arena headline show marked their largest gig to date.
