🎸 PARKER BARROW Unleash Explosive New Single “Make It” – A Southern Rock Powerhouse in Full Flight

PARKER BARROW logo

PARKER BARROW are back, and they’ve absolutely “Made It” with their brand-new single – a bluesy, southern rock anthem that hits with the force of a whiskey-fuelled freight train.

The Nashville-based rockers return with “Make It”, their most electric track to date – and it’s already turning heads on the scene with its melodic 80s-infused guitar riff, smokey, blues-soaked vocals, and an instant earworm chorus that’s destined to be belted out at full volume from festival fields to dive bars.

“Make It feels like Lynyrd Skynyrd crashed a Joan Jett show and left with a swagger that’s all PARKER BARROW.”

🔥 From Jukebox Gypsies to Southern Rock Royalty

Following the critical acclaim of their 2023 debut album Jukebox Gypsies – which landed on multiple “Best of the Year” lists – PARKER BARROW are clearly not slowing down. In fact, Make It might be the song that propels them from underground darlings to full-blown southern rock icons.

With a title that cheekily doubles as a mission statement, “Make It” was written by drummer Dylan Turner and guitarist Alex Bender, and is delivered with a fiery passion by lead vocalist Megan Kane, whose performance is nothing short of show-stopping.

“This is the sound of a band that knows who they are, what they want, and exactly how to deliver it – loud, raw, and real.”

🎤 “Make It” – A New Southern Rock Classic?

The single opens with a vintage, riff-driven swagger, soaked in the echoes of 80s rock, before diving into a chorus so catchy it should come with a warning label. Megan Kane’s vocals smoulder with both grit and grace – equal parts Janis Joplin and Grace Potter, but unmistakably her own.

And as the groove settles in, you can feel Turner’s powerhouse drumming and Bender’s dynamic lead guitar work combining to create a sonic landscape that’s both nostalgic and cutting-edge.

“Make It is southern rock revivalism done right – fierce, fearless, and full of fire.”

🎬 Music Video & UK Tour Incoming

Directed by Keith Leman (whose resume includes names like Willie Nelson and Carrie Underwood), the official video for Make It captures the same bold, unapologetic spirit that defines Parker Barrow’s live show.

Speaking of live shows, fans in the UK are in for a treat: the band has just announced a July 2025 UK Tour, including a headline slot at Maid of Stone Festival and dates in Chester, Nottingham, and London.

  • Alex Bender: “Some songs take months. This one felt right from day one. We poured our soul into it.”

“Make It” is the Southern Rock shot of adrenaline we’ve been waiting for. With its hook-heavy riff, fierce vocals, and a band firing on all cylinders, this single solidifies PARKER BARROW’s place at the top of the modern southern rock revival.

If Jukebox Gypsies was the introduction, Make It is the battle cry.
