Joe Satriani & Steve Vai form SATCH VAI BAND and announce “Surfing With The Hydra” June 2025 UK and European Tour

The legendary guitarists Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, collectively known as The SATCHVAI Band, are embarking on their first collaborative tour under this new name. This momentous event celebrates nearly five decades of musical friendship and innovation.

The SATCHVAI Band tour kicks off in the UK at the York Barbican on June 13, with subsequent dates at London O2 Eventim Apollo (June 14), Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (June 17), Wolverhampton Civic Hall (June 18), and Manchester O2 Apollo (June 19).

A Historic Collaboration

SATCHVAI is the culmination of a musical journey that began with their teenage years in Long Island, where Satriani was Vai’s guitar teacher. Following their U.S. tour earlier in 2024, the decision to unite under The SATCHVAI Band was a natural progression for these icons. Their first musical collaboration, “The Sea of Emotion, Pt. 1,” debuted in March 2024, and their second project will be released just before the European tour.
