The Vaccines, an English indie rock band, absolutely rocked the stage at Rock City in Nottingham with their energetic performance. From the moment the lights dimmed and the crowd erupted in cheers, it was clear that this would be a night to remember.

The concert-goers eagerly awaited The Vaccines’ arrival – Bouncing with excitement, the audience couldn’t wait for the show to begin.  The air was filled with anticipation as the band prepared to take the stage.

The band opened with their hit song “Wreckin’ Bar (Ra Ra Ra). The crowd instantly became a sea of jumping and singing fans.  Opening with notable songs included “Post Break-Up Sex” and “If You Wanna” the performed all or their well known songs as Teenage Hero well as many from their new album –  Pick Up Full of Pink Carnations.

Frontman Justin Young commanded the stage with his electrifying energy, Jumping, running, and engaging with the crowd, he had everyone in the palm of his hand. His infectious charisma lit up the venue, creating an electric atmosphere.

Impressive Musicianship

Each band member demonstrated exceptional talent throughout the performance. Freddie Cowan’s guitar solos were a highlight, showcasing his skill and dexterity

Arni Arnesons  bass lines provided a solid foundation for the energetic rhythm section. Justin Young continuously interacted with the crowd, making everyone feel included. He ventured into the audience, shaking hands and high-fiving fans. Fans were given the opportunity to sing portions of songs, creating a memorable experience for all.

Between songs, the band engaged in playful banter with the audience, Their lighthearted jokes and witty remarks added an extra layer of entertainment. The crowd responded with laughter and applause, appreciating the band’s humor.

The Vaccines’ concert at Rock City Nottingham was an unforgettable night of high-energy music and incredible performances. The band’s dynamic stage presence, impressive musicianship, and engaging interactions with the audience made for an exceptional show. From start to finish, the crowd was captivated by The Vaccines’ talent and infectious energy. It was a concert experience that left both die-hard fans and newcomers with lasting memories.

Support Acts: Divorce and Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers did a great job of warming the crowd up and Im sure they will both soon be returning to this iconic venue as headliners in the future.

If you are ever in the UK then I highly recommend a visit to Rock City in Nottingham. This venue opened in 1980 with a perfomace by The Undertones and since then the venue and hosted many of the worlds top Rock Icons including the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Nivarna, Oasis, Blur, David Bowie, Guns and Roses, Public Enemy, The Libertines, The Happy Mondays…..).  The staff are welcoming and professional at  The UK’s Best Live Venue & Club | ROCK CITY | Nottingham
