Lines of Loyalty Rock Local 506: A Night of High-Energy Performances
It was a rockin’ end to January, as rockers Lines of Loyalty, and special guests With Clarity and Kutthroat, put on a high-energy performance for a crowd of less than 100 people at Local 506. Located in downtown Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Local 506 is a private club that hosts many different genres of music. Just up the road from the University of North Carolina (UNC Chapel Hill). The show was made possible by Kutthroat Concerts (Johnny Cutt).
Kutthroat

The first band of the night was Kutthroat. Originating from North Carolina, the band wasted no time getting the night started. These guys ROCKED!! Super tight, amazing guitar leads, great stage presence, and a booming rhythm section made for an awesome start. The crowd was seen singing to the words and moshing to the music. The lighting was not the greatest, but the band brought out the best they could, and they did just that! The sound system was far beyond expectations for a venue that can hold a capacity of 250 patrons. A talented group to catch if you are into the local scene in North Carolina.
With Clarity

The second band of the night, With Clarity, hit the stage after a brief delay due to technical difficulties beyond the band’s control. Opening up for Lines of Loyalty, With Clarity brought clear, crisp vision to an intimate crowd of Wednesday night rockers. The North Carolina natives really had the crowd’s attention with their amazing performance. Vocals were super clear, and the music was awesome! The lighting was decent, and the sound was superb. The crowd was moving and singing. A super talented group of young individuals with a bright future ahead of them!
Lines of Loyalty

And last, but not least by any means, the headlining band Lines of Loyalty closed it out. Stemming from Kenosha, Wisconsin, the trio—Glenn “Nubz” Morrison (vocals, guitar), Redo Ianni (bass, vocals, keys), and Brayden Pike (drums, percussion), made a pit stop into North Carolina before starting the second leg of the Machine Killer Tour, which kicked off in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on 2/1/24.
Playing songs like “Pick Your Poison” and “My Addiction,” off their album “Hurts to be Human,” Lines of Loyalty never cease to amaze the crowds they perform for. Bringing raw emotion, heart and soul, compassion, life experiences, unapologetic melodic tones, these guys are the true definitions of what a musician should be. The emotions and high energy are evident in their stage presence. Redo Ianni, the band’s bassist, plays his bass as if it were attached to his body.
I did not see him stand in one spot during their full set! Drummer Brayden Pike highlighted his newest SJC custom drum kit, decked out in all white along with a blood-filled human heart (which could be seen on the band’s album “Hurts to be Human”), on his bass drum head. Pike is quite the performer, tossing sticks into the air as he plays. Pike is a hard-hitting and passionate drummer.
The true backbone of an extremely talented group of musicians. Lead vocalist/guitarist Glen “Nubz” Morrison is such a crowd pleaser. Delivering powerful vocals which most of us can relate to. With his crunchy guitar riffs, Morrison would have no issues making anyone a fan. A super talented individual with a kind heart. The band can be seen mingling with the crowd in between bands and showing their full support for the local acts on the bill.
This quote can be found on the band’s website: “No matter where you go, loyalty means the same thing. It represents a promise to uphold a code of honor. You remain true to yourself, your friends, and your family. Lines Of Loyalty maintain this level of commitment to both their craft and their mission.” Now if that does not speak volumes, I am not sure what else will! The lighting and sound were great! The crowd was seen singing and moving to the music. The energy was extreme. Emotions were raw.
This band is an absolute must-see band. A special thank you to Kutthroat Concerts (Johnny Cutt) for making this show possible! If you have not seen Lines of Loyalty, you can catch them on the second leg of the Machine Killer Tour alongside Static,X, Sevendust, and +Dope+.
