Jayler at Stonedead Festival 2025: Young Blood, Big Sound, and a Friday Night to Remember
Jayler set the tone for the 2025 Stonedead Festival when they took to the stage at the Friday Night Party. The Rugeley-based quartet, known for their Zeppelin-soaked swagger and youthful grit, kicked off the evening with a set that was equal parts nerve-wracking and euphoric. “We went down a storm,” they told RockNews in their backstage interview, still buzzing from the crowd’s energy.

This candid sit-down captures Jayler’s reflections on their summer festival run, songwriting quirks, and the emotional weight of playing Steelhouse—where Tyler’s been attending since age nine.
Jayler at Stonedead Festival: More Than Just a Warm-Up
Held at Newark Showground, the Friday Night Party has grown into a full-scale celebration, with gates opening at 6pm and the first band hitting at 6:45. Jayler shared the bill with Sweet Electric and Tyketto, but it was their opening slot that drew a swelling crowd and set the stage ablaze. They didn’t just play well. They elevated the whole experience.
Jayler : Old Souls With A Modern Edge
Formed just three years ago, Jayler are a band of old souls with a modern edge. Their sound channels classic rock with a youthful twist, and their writing process is refreshingly chaotic, no formulas, just vibes. Whether it’s acoustic demos or jam sessions that evolve into full-blown anthems, their collaborative spirit shines through.
They’re currently prepping for studio time, with their debut album on the horizon. “We’ve got all the songs ready,” they said, “and we’re going in for two weeks to record.”

Mistakes Are Part Of The Magic
Jayler’s interview parting wisdom? Stay true to yourself. “If any label comes in and wants to change you, tell them no. This is us.” It’s a mantra that fits their ethos perfectly, unpolished, passionate, and unapologetically themselves.
And if you mess up? “Do it twice,” they laughed, quoting Brian May. Because in Jayler’s world, mistakes are just part of the magic.
