Well it was a long time ago and and far far way but after all these years we can bring you some home made video from Monsters of Rock 1986. Long before Download was a twinkle in Andy Copping’s eyes lived Monsters of Rock on the same site as Download in Castle Donnington. It ran from 1980 to 1996. Anyone that was around at this time would know how rare a video camera was. Getting anything past the security at Monsters of Rock was hard never mind a video camera the size of VCR. Unfortunately the quality is expected from the technology of the day but its still a record of a great day in Rock history.

Bad news was part of The Comic Strip Presents a Channel 4 comedy showcase, Bad News was like the UK version of Spinal Tap. It started Peter Richardson, Rik Mayall, Nigel Planer and Ade Edmondson.
