Discover The Dodies: Your Next Favorite Band Has Arrived – Trust me

You know when you are listening to your favorite album on Spotify and at the end it just throws songs at you that it thinks you might like? Most of the time you think “no, skip,” but on those very rare occasions, you come across a song that not only can you not hit skip—you have to listen to it on repeat. Oh, and then you listen to everything they have ever put out and they become your new favorite band. That’s exactly the feeling you get when you discover The Dodies.

Samantha Fish announces new album with Jesse Dayton ahead of October UK Tour.

Straight out of Beaumont,Texas, The Dodies are the kind of band that instantly grabs your attention and doesn’t let go. Their music is a wild, raw, and refreshingly honest blend of garage rock, indie grit, and powerful melodies that feel simultaneously new and familiar.

Their brand new album, Dreamism, released through No Rules Music, Dreamism captures the band’s untamed energy and emotional depth across 12 explosive tracks. Produced by Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Sons of Apollo, ex-Guns N’ Roses), “Dreamism” marks the band’s most ambitious project yet, solidifying their place in the feat of the garage rock revival.

At the heart of The Dodies are guitarist/vocalist Yoni Avittan and drummer/synth wizard Ran Aronson. Together, they create a sound much bigger than the sum of their parts. It’s hard-hitting, melodic, slightly off-kilter, and completely addictive. Their lyrics dive into themes of depression, anxiety, and alienation, all while delivering riffs and beats that get under your skin in the best possible way.

In the words of Billy Morrison himself, “The Dodies are pure, raw talent with songs that connect instantly.” Dreamism is packed with hooks that will have you singing along after just one listen, but it’s the raw sincerity behind the music that will keep you coming back.
