Rock icons The Darkness are back in electrifying form with the official video release of their latest single “Rock And Roll Party Cowboy”, taken from their chart-topping new album Dreams On Toast, out now via Cooking Vinyl.

The Darkness: Still Reigning Supreme

The Darkness have reasserted their dominance in the rock scene with Dreams On Toast, which has stormed to No.2 on the UK Official Albums Chart—their highest position since their iconic debut Permission To Land. The album has also hit No.1 on the Independent Albums, Rock & Metal Albums, Vinyl Albums, and Download Albums charts, solidifying their position as one of Britain’s greatest rock bands.

Critics and fans alike are hailing Dreams On Toast as the band’s best work in over 20 years, with praise rolling in from Classic Rock, Kerrang, Rolling Stone UK, and more. With a tongue-in-cheek nod to the glam rock era and a fierce modern edge, The Darkness prove once again why they’re still at the top of their game.

Watch: “Rock And Roll Party Cowboy” – The Darkness Unleashed

The brand-new video for “Rock And Roll Party Cowboy” is a wild animated ride through Sunset Strip excess, exploding with colour, chaos, and classic Darkness humour. Directed by drummer Rufus ‘Tiger’ Taylor and Darri3D, the video features nods to the band’s legendary career—from Justin Hawkins’ flying white tiger to the spaceship from Permission To Land.

“Only three things embody what it is to be a rock n roll party cowboy: my dog Don Vito, The Darkness, and our amazing fans,” says Rufus. “This one’s for you.”

The video captures the essence of The Darkness: flamboyant, fun, and completely unapologetic. With blazing guitar solos, fist-pumping energy, and vocals that soar to absurd (and brilliant) heights, the track channels the spirit of Motörhead, ZZ Top, and Judas Priest with The Darkness’ unmistakable flair.
