Kris Barras is back, and this time, he’s bringing his blues-rock roots to the forefront with Hollow Souls—a powerhouse new band ready to take the UK by storm. Following a monumental 2024 with Kris Barras Band (KBB)—which saw a Top 5 UK album and headline festival appearances—Barras is launching Hollow Souls to explore a different creative outlet, blending his signature gravelly vocals and virtuosic guitar work with a fresh lineup and dynamic sound.
Hollow Souls’ Debut Single: “Borderline” ft. Jared James Nichols
Mark your calendars! “Borderline”, the debut single from Hollow Souls, drops on Friday, March 28th, 2025. Featuring Jared James Nichols, one of the most electrifying blues-rock guitarists in the US, this track captures raw energy, killer riffs, and soulful power. Nichols’ blistering solo was recorded remotely, and Barras couldn’t be happier with the results:

Recorded in one take at Momentum Studios and produced by Josiah J Manning, the track showcases the chemistry of Hollow Souls, featuring Joe Harris (drums), Leighton Allen (bass), and powerhouse vocalist Phoebe Jane.
Kris Barras’ Hollow Souls 2025 UK Tour
To celebrate the launch of Hollow Souls, the band is hitting the road for a 20-date UK tour this October and November. This run will see Kris return to the venues that helped shape his career while bringing an electrifying new sound to the British blues-rock scene.

Who Are Hollow Souls?
Hollow Souls is Kris Barras’ latest musical project, born out of a desire to return to his blues-rock roots while still pushing boundaries. Inspired by Supersonic Blues Machine, where Kris played alongside legends like Billy Gibbons and Joe Bonamassa, Hollow Souls started as a jam band experiment and quickly evolved into something more.
With long-time collaborator Josiah J Manning at the helm, the lineup includes:
