THE HOT DAMN! Kick off U.K. tour this week and release acoustic cover of Shania Twain’s ‘You’re Still The One’ 

Hi-octane, neon-clad pop-rockers The Hot Damn! who recently released their highly anticipated debut album Dancing on the Milky Way (Sept 27^th 2024) via Fat Earth Records which went to #3 in the UK rock chart (Check it out HERE) – kick off their U.K. tour this week hitting the following venues:

To celebrate their headline tour, the band have recorded an acoustic cover of Shania Twain’s ‘You’re Still The One.’

Frontwoman Gill states: “We just wanted to do something that would fully embrace the world class cheese balls that we are! I remember I started singing it to Josie in the car while she dropped me off at the airport after Stonedead Festival. It had been pretty taxing weekend… or year really and the line “looks like we made it” just kept popping up over the years. When it came to choosing a cheeky cover, it seemed like a no-brainer as we had been singing it so much along the way it really felt part of our journey! It was good to show a more sensitive and dare I say “sensible” side? And who doesn’t love a bit of Shania?!”

Dancing On The Milky Way, the bulk of which was recorded in 2023 in Melbourne, Australia at Lighthill Sound Recording with Ricki Rae, then at Axis Studio Doncaster with Matt Elliss, has been a work of love, fun and healing, bringing band members together from the ashes of their previous groups (The Amorettes, Tequila Mockingbyrd, New Device/Sophie Lloyd Band & Aaron Buchanan and the Cult Classics) and bursting on to the UK circuit in 2021. The Hot Damn! have since completed multiple UK tours and have just returned from their European debut in Germany. Riding high on the airwaves, both in Germany and the UK, their catchy choruses are to be found on A-list rotation on the likes of Planet Rock, Kerrang!, Star FM and Radio BOB! plus being chosen as Amy Lamé’s BBC 6 Music ‘Sunday Girl.’
