The Bites Electrify Rock City: A Night of High-Energy Rock and Roll
Spoiler Alert – The Bites are possible the best band you will ever see!
Rock News is amped up as we head to Rock City, Nottingham, to catch The Bites supporting The Dead Daisies. After their electrifying performance at the Stonedead Festival last month, we can’t wait to see them rock the stage again. If you missed our interview with the band, check it out for exclusive insights into their journey and music.
The Bites kick off their set with “Knockin’ on the Door,” immediately captivating the audience with their powerful sound and infectious energy. The band’s tight musicianship and dynamic stage presence are evident from the get-go. Lead vocalist’s Jordan Tyler’s gritty yet melodic voice perfectly complements the raw, edgy guitar riffs, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly modern.
As they transition into “Pretty Boys,” the crowd’s enthusiasm only grows. The song’s catchy chorus and driving rhythm have everyone on their feet, singing along and dancing. The Bites’ ability to connect with their audience is truly remarkable, and it’s clear they are having just as much fun on stage as the fans are in the crowd.
Jordan enthusiasm had him jumping from the stage to the crowd barriers to hi-five every person on the front row. He was later joined by the two guitarists who gave the audience an unclose and personal demonstration of their shredding.
A brief cover of “War Pigs” made it to the setlist and was met with a huge cheer from the audience. And frontman Tyler announced to the crowd he wanted to Squeeze everyone. He is truly in his element up on stage infant of a crowd. Letting the venue he loves Tequila (who doesn’t?) he shouted out “if you have a marker pen The Bites! will sign anything!” with a cheeky grin on his face.
One of the highlights of the night is their performance of “Do Me a Favour.” The song’s infectious groove and memorable lyrics energise the entire venue. The band’s chemistry is evident, and their tight-knit performance showcases their undeniable talent and passion for their craft. The drummer’s solo during this track earning a thunderous applause and cheers from the audience.
The Nottingham crowd’s appreciation for The Bites is easy to see throughout their set. Fans old and new are captivated by their high-energy performance and undeniable charisma. The band’s ability to blend classic rock influences with a modern twist makes for a truly unforgettable experience. The audience’s enthusiastic response, in particular a certain “Scottish Sam from Liverpool” who screamed her way through the set, is a testament to The Bites’ growing popularity and the impact of their music.
With the set finished, Rock News can’t help but feel a sense of anticipation for what’s next for The Bites. Their performance at Rock City solidifies their status as one of the most exciting new acts in the rock scene today. We can’t wait to see them again in the future, and highly recommend that you do the same.
