Review: Jared James Nichols Rocking the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham

Mesmerizing, Musical Talent that’s off the scale with Brilliant Stage Presence / Audience Interaction. A full evening of great rock music.
Jared James Nichols is an American Blues Rock Guitarist and singer who is exceptionally talented. Big in stature and personality, this man from East Troy in Wisconsin, USA, now based in Nashville, Tennessee, plays the guitar without a pick, and my god can he make that Les Paul sing.
The band’s act was simply mesmerizing from start to finish with great precision and bass from Louis Collins and Ryan Rice; this band is a must-see in my opinion. Following their 2015 Album ‘Old Glory and the Wild Revival,’ Jared’s recent album, simply named ‘Jared James Nichols,’ is superb. He started the set with the song ‘Easy Come, Easy Go,’ a song that I’ve played often over the past few weeks. Great catchy vocals and, of course, his signature mesmerizing guitar solos set the tone for the whole album. Other songs high on my playlist at the moment are ‘My Delusion,’ ‘Good Time Girl,’ and ‘Skin and Bone.’
Support bands Dewolff (a band hailing from the Netherlands) and Doomsday Outlaw were both absolutely brilliant as well, with superb musical talent and great performances that certainly got the audience going from the start.
As usual, the staff at the Rescue Rooms couldn’t be more accommodating – great customer service and really friendly door/security staff.”
