Damone

Why Damone is the Best Band You’ve Never Heard Of.

Here at Rock News HQ, we’re always on the lookout for great new music to share with our readers. And today, we’re excited to introduce you to one of our favorite bands: Damone.

Now, you might be thinking to yourself, “Damone? I’ve never heard of them before.” And that’s exactly why we’re here – to bring some much-deserved attention to this incredible group of musicians. It’s time to crank up the volume and get ready to meet one of the most kick-ass bands you’ve never heard of.

These guys are the ultimate underdogs of the rock world. They’ve been around since the early 2000s, but for some reason, they’ve never quite broken through to the mainstream. And that’s a shame, because they freaking rock.

We’re talking catchy hooks, blistering guitar riffs, and a lead singer who could give Joan Jett a run for her money. If you’re a fan of classic rock, punk, or just good old-fashioned ass-kicking music, then you need to check out Damone.

Their debut album, “From the Attic,” is a true masterpiece. It’s chock-full of killer tracks like “Frustrated Unnoticed” “Feel Bad Vibe,” and “At the Mall” that will have you headbanging in no time.

But Damone isn’t just a great studio band – they’re even better live. These guys and gal bring an insane amount of energy to their shows, and they’re guaranteed to leave you with ringing ears and a sore neck (in the best possible way).

And here’s a fun fact for you: Damone actually covered Guns N’ Roses’ “You Could Be Mine” and absolutely killed it. We’re talking Axl Rose-level vocals, guitar solos that would make Slash proud, and enough stage presence to fill a stadium.

Damone struck gold again with their second album, “Out Here All Night.” They took the internet by storm by releasing it on iTunes in early 2006 and then followed up with a CD release later that year. With heavy rotation of the hit song “Out Here All Night,” the band was practically living out of their tour bus, traveling all over to perform for their fans.

After two successful albums, they didn’t take a break and went straight into creating their third one, Roll the Dice. And boy, did they roll it right! The album was a hit and even earned them a tour in the UK as support for the Wildhearts.

Damone’s song “Revolution” is the official anthem for the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer.

Damone’s cover of Iron Maiden’s “Wasted Years” on their second album “Out Here All Night” is better than the original.

Yeah I know I’m committing a rock and roll sacrilege, but hear me out. Damone took this classic metal tune and infused it with their signature style, turning it into an absolute banger.

Don’t get me wrong, the original version is a classic for a reason, but Damone’s cover takes it to another level.

So there you have it, folks. Call me crazy if you want, but in my opinion, Damone’s cover of “Wasted Years” reigns supreme. What do you think?

What’s the best ACDC album of all time

Looks like Damone has been laying low for a while, but fear not, dear readers! They’re not just sitting around, twiddling their thumbs and binge-watching Netflix. No, no, no. When I talked to them on Instagram, they assured me they’re still very much a band and are eager to get back on stage and rock your socks off.

So, let’s keep our fingers crossed that they’ll hit the road again soon and grace us with their infectious energy and killer tunes. And in the meantime, we can all dust off our Damone albums, crank up the volume, and pretend we’re at one of their epic shows. Who needs live music when you have imagination, right? (Okay, maybe that’s a bit of a stretch, but let’s roll with it.)

  • I had the pleasure of seeing this incredible band back in 2003 (maybe 2004?) when they played The Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA and I instantly fell in love! They can shred with the best of them and they truly commanded that small yet intimidating stage! They were opening for Vendetta Red and I actually enjoyed Damone better I’m glad to hear they didn’t fall off the face of the planet. I’m totally looking forward to hear what they’ve been working on.

  • Could NOT agree more! I’ve been OBSESSED with Damone since catching them with Valient Thorr and bullets and octane in April 2006. I went for Thorr and to check out b&o, but left a couple of songs into Valient’s set because Damone literally BLEW. ME. AWAY. and I had to get to a record store before the last one closed in Denver so I could absorb more. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made.
