Danko Jones Gig Review – Resorts World Arena Birmingham.
“I Love This Stage! I Love This Town! Why?……Im In A Band!” Danko Jones 31/01/2023
Danko Jones Gig Review. Danko Jones is finally back in the UK and tonight they are playing the Resorts World Arena Birmingham. The home of metal is welcoming the Canadian hard rock trio who are currently touring with The Darkness and Black stone Cherry.
To the delight of the crowd in Birmingham Danko Jones are bringing 8 of their greatest rock hits. Between songs Danko interacted with the crowd proclaiming that Birmingham is a personal mecca due to some of the greatest rock bands that have emerged from the city.
With fast and punchy lyrics with an impactful sound to match Danko Jones preform every song with 110% effort and endless energy on the arena stage. John Calabrese bounced around as he played his bass. Rich Knox thundered away at his drum kit to the rear and Danko was determinedly singing the lines of the songs as if he’s about to enter the ring in a world heavyweight boxing contest.
The crowd in the Resorts World Arena were treated to an excellent taster of the great sound Danko Jones can bring to a stage. Like me, I’m sure many of the audience will be eagerly looking for a headline show from Danko Jones at a local venue soon.
