Eddie & The WolvesReviews

Eddie & The Wolves gig review Victoria Bikers Club.

Tonight I visited The Victoria Bikers Club in Coalville. It’s a venue I’ve never been to before, but it didn’t disappoint. It’s exactly what I expected, a biker pub with the friendliest staff and great atmosphere. I was there to see Eddie & the Wolves. A Derby based band I have seen many times. They always blow me away with their performance and tonight was no exception. Every time they give it their all no matter the venue or size of crowd. Char even commented that no matter where they play ‘Edd always brings 3 guitars’.

If you haven’t had chance to listen to them or see them live, I highly recommend you do. They released their debut album last year and it’s a rock & blues belter. Check them out on all the socials. First up was Burning Embers which really set the tone for the night. Edd’s distinctive voice drawing us in and making us want to hear more.

Later Edd slowed it down for ‘I Could be yours’ a truly beautiful song, before getting us going again and back to the bluesy rock they do so well.

Vindictive, a song written and sang by Char about an ex makes me never want to cross her, but my goodness what a song! So much energy, fire & passion! Its great to hear Char singing lead as well as backing vocals.

The band is completed by Liam on drums, keeping everything together with his tub thumping skills and Kian on bass with his infectious smile. Finally finishing with new song, Bad Touch. It shows that the 2nd album will be as great as the debut and I, for one, can’t wait to hear it. Eddie & the Wolves is an amazing band that are definitely going places.
