Our very own JB-Rocks got to sit down for a chat with new band Close Ties. The band hail from Lincolnshire and have just released their amazing first single Divide which you see below. JB and the boys talk about the origin of the band name, what releases we can expect in the coming months, favourite bands and some surprising guilty pleasures.

At their roots, the band blend their love of modern metal with a wide variety of eclectic influences. The soundscape that they deliver consists of traditional pulverizing riffs paired with ambient melodies and electronic elements.
Close Ties are Ady Lowe the frontman, Liam Topliss and Sean Clohessy on guitars, Ben Spencer on Bass, drummer to be confirmed. The single was produced by Owen Claxton and recorded at Stag Works Studios Sheffield.
