A Very brief History of Motley Crue.

It all started back in 1981 in Los Angeles, Nikki Sixx had just left his band London. Tommy and NikKi started band with Greg Leon. After reading an advertisement in The Recycler Mick Mars joined the band. Greg was fired and Vince was hired. Mick Mars came up with the name Mötley Crüe after first suggesting they call themselves Christmas. The debut album Too Fast for Love sold 20,000 copies and in 1982 they signed to Elektra Records, the rest as they say is history.
