An interview with Radkey. Roctavia catches up with Isaiah.

Howdy everybody! I’m excited to come back at you once again with a fit check on one of my new favorite bands, Radkey! If you’ve been following Rock News UK from the beginning, you’re well aware that Radkey hosted one of our first strictly paper format band interviews. A lot has happened in the short time since that first interview, so I found myself wanting to touch base with Radkey again.

In this interview, I get to chat with the ever so wonderful Isaiah Radke (bassist) about all of the things that are stirring up excitement in their world. The band was set to Join Foo Fighters on their inaugural D.C. Jam to celebrate 25 years of fighting foos…but alas…the pandemic put a wrench in those works. Not to be outdone as a band that seems to love supporting up and coming talent in the world of rock, the Foo Fighters have invited Radkey to open for them on their 26 year anniversary tour & have featured them in their new documentary, “What Drives Us.” Isaiah and I got to chatting about all of the exciting features that the Foo Fighters have worked Radkey into as well as all of the potential aspirations that Isaiah sees for the band in the near future.

Another rad topic that Isaiah and I got to cover was the current preorder of their crowd funded album, “Green Room,” that is soon to be on its way to the public. This album features lots of the rowdy Radkey tracks that we’ve grown to adore on a beautiful limited edition green marble vinyl. We get into more about how admirable it is that the fans of the band are so truly involved in its ongoing success in the interview below.
