Creatures of the Night – A brief History of KISS
Way back in time, well 1973 to be precise, a new band was formed in New Your City. KISS soon became well known thanks to the makeup, costumes and the groundbreaking live performances. The original line up consisted of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss. Each member of the band has an alter ego or character if you like, The Starchild Paul Stanley, The Demon – Gene Simmons, The Spaceman – Ace Frehley, and The Catman – Peter Criss.
In 1983 the band entered the unmasked era, removing the makeup and costumes. This period lasted around 10 years but the fans wanted the full KISS experience so in 1996 the band returned with the makeup, costumes and the original line up.
To this day KISS are still going strong although they are now on the End of the Road World Tour, make sure you catch this legendry band for the last time.
